SECTION 51 MANUAL FOR
BRAVO GROUP (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES
INTRODUCTION
This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No.2 of 2000).
The manual may be amended from time to time and as soon as any amendments have been finalised the latest version will be made available to the public.

1. INTRODUCTION TO BRAVO GROUP (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES
Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries is a furniture manufacturing group, which sells its products to furniture retailers throughout South Africa and other African countries.
Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries is a private body as defined by the Promotion of Access to Information Act , 2000 (Act No.2 of 2000).

The manual is available for inspection at the offices of Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries at Cnr Main Reef and Avon Roads, Longdale Ext 2, Johannesburg, free of charge. A copy of this manual is also available on our website www.bravogroup.co.za,

5. HOW TO REQUEST ACCESS TO THE RECORDS OF BRAVO GROUP (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES
Requests for access to records held by Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries must be made on the request forms that are available from the South African Human Rights Commission website.
The request for information must be addressed to the Information Officer at the postal address (PO Box 43563, Industria, 2042).
The requester must provide sufficient information on the request form that will assist the Information Officer in identifying the record requested.
The requester should indicate which form of access is required and indicate if any other method is to be used to respond to the requester.
When requesting a document the requester must identify the right being exercised or protected and must also include an explanation as why the requested record is necessary in order to exercise or protect that right.
A letter of authority or consent form must accompany the request form if a request is made on behalf of another person.
A requester requesting access to a record containing personal information is not required to pay a fee, any other requester for a record not containing personal information, must pay the required fee.
Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries will notify the requester of the prescribed fee prior to processing the request.
The requester may lodge with the court an application against the payment of the prescribed fee.
Please refer to section 11(1) of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No.2 of 2000) for the details regarding prescribed fees.
The remedies available to a requester if the information requested has been refused are:
- An internal appeal to the relevant authority in terms of section 74 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No.2 of 2000)
and
- An application with the court against the decision by the information officer

Information is available in terms of the following legislation, if and where applicable, which includes but is not limited to:

Please note that recording a category in this Manual does not imply that a request for access to such records would be honoured. All requests for access to information will be considered on a case by case basis in accordance with the provisions of the Promotion of Access to Information Act , 2000 (Act No.2 of 2000).
Records which could be deemed confidential on the part of a third party will necessitate permission from such a third party concerned before Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries will permit access.

Bravo Group (Proprietary) Limited and its subsidiaries has not published a notice in terms of Section 52(2) of the Act.
